DESCRIPTION:
France, extra large patinated spelter figural clock, depicting a tall woman in classic Greek gown, (figure is 25"), standing beside a fluted pedestal with footed accents, and with a good bell strike movement.
CONDITION:
the bronze colored paint has failed in a couple of places, revealing spelter and flux beneath. The large piece of marble is very heavy and would make you think it is bronze, but it is not. Movement is sound; would benefit from cleaning. Large and imposing.
